Former Hornet Marco Cassetti is back in professional football after agreeing a deal with Italian side Como Calcio.
‘The Beard’ has been without a club since he left Watford at the end of last season following two years at Vicarage Road.
The 37-year-old defender was pictured signing his contract with Como this morning. The club compete in the third tier of Italian football, Lega Pro A, and are currently eighth in the table.
Prior to moving to Vicarage Road in August 2012, initially on a season-long loan, Cassetti enjoyed a fine career in Italy.
He became the first Lecce player in history to be capped by the national side - for whom he made five appearances - before he moved to AS Roma and spent six years with the club.
