ALMOST 400 submissions were made to Hertfordshire Constabulary last year under the new Freedom of Information Act (FOI).
Of these, 95 per cent were dealt with within the 20-working day target.
The largest number of inquiries, about 15 per cent, were about speed cameras and a number of students requested information on policing and crime for their assignments.
Chief Constable Frank Whiteley said: "Our aim is to be as open and honest as possible within the guidelines around FOI, and we have been able to respond to a high number of complex and probing questions on a variety of issues.
"In the vast majority of cases we have been able to provide the information and within the target time-scales."
