A jigsaw extravaganza is to be held in Abbots Langley, to raise money for the village’s community centre.
Organisers are already preparing for Jigfest, which will be held on Saturday, March 24 at Abbots Langley Community Centre, Manor House Grounds.
The event was initially started four years ago to pay for the refurbishment of the village’s community centre.
Thousands of pounds have been raised from the popular puzzle event and money collected from this year’s Jigfest will go towards continual maintenance of the centre.
Visitors can expect to see hundreds of colourful large and small jigsaws - both to admire and to buy.
Proceedings start from 10am and finish at 5pm. Admission costs £1, which includes a cup of tea.
Anyone wishing to donate special puzzles of interest to collectors (particularly old or wooden puzzles) or would like to help assemble a puzzle is asked to contact organisers Brian and Pat Hibberd on: 01923 267391 or brianhibberd@talktalk.net.
