The owners of a new restaurant due to open in Watford and a park café have applied for licences to sell alcohol.

Nando’s have applied for a premises licence for its eatery at Woodside Leisure Park, while the operators of Cedar Café in Cassiobury Park also wish to sell alcohol from their site.

Notices published in the Public Notice Portal also detail the intention to shut roads in Watford, Bushey and Sarratt for roadworks.

The portal is used to access all of the upcoming and recent information about various restrictions and notices.

Woodside Leisure Park – alcohol licence

The owners of a popular restaurant chain due to open at Woodside Leisure Park have applied for a licence to sell alcohol.

Nando’s Chickenland Ltd has applied for a premises licence at Nando’s Woodside Leisure Park, Kingsway North Orbital Road, Watford WD25 7JZ.

If the application is granted, it will permit the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 11am to midnight, Monday to Sunday, and the provision of late night refreshment from 11pm to midnight, Monday to Sunday.

Cassiobury Park cafe – alcohol licence

The operators of a café in Cassiobury Park have also applied for a license to sell alcohol.

EM Catering Ltd has applied for a premises licence for Cedar Café, Cassiobury Park Hub, Cassiobury Park, Watford WD17 3AR.

If granted, alcohol will be able to be sold from the café from 10am to 9.30pm.

Any representations must be made in writing to Watford Licensing Authority.

Roads in Watford, Bushey and Sarratt – temporary closing

Hertfordshire County Council is intending to make orders to close the following lengths of road due to planned roadworks.

If permitted, the orders will come into force from March 11 for a period of up to 18 months, but the restrictions will only apply at times shown on signs at or near the roads.

- Woodside, Watford from its junction with The Harebreaks north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Fuller Road, a distance of approximately 332m.

- Chestnut Walk, Watford from its junction with Beech Road north eastwards for its entire length.

- North Approach, Watford from its junction with Greenwood Drive south westwards for a distance of approximately 200m.

- Rectory Lane, Bushey from its junction with A411 High Street south westwards for its entire length.

- The Green, Sarratt from a point 87m north west of its junction with Dawes Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 23m.

Estate of Molly Lilian Pattison

Anyone with an interest in or a claim against the estate of Molly Lilian Pattison, late of 101, Valley Road, Rickmansworth, Herts WD3 4BL, who died on December 21, 2022, should send their details in writing to solicitors Darlington Hardcastles, 28, Church Street, Rickmansworth WD3 1DD.

This should be done on or before April 24, 2024.
