A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms is in place covering Watford again after flooding last week.
According to the Met Office, the town is included in an area across the south of England forecasted to see heavy rain and thunderstorms as they move northeast this morning (June 20).
It predicted that the heavy rain would cause “difficult driving conditions” and potential transport disruptions.

The south of England should see 15-25mm of water falling widely, with 20-40mm forecasted in some areas covered by the warning and up to 60mm for a few spots.
