A pre-school “where all children thrive” is celebrating getting the best possible rating from Ofsted.
Morris Minors Pre-School was rated ‘outstanding’ in all categories after inspectors visited on November 7, with it being highly recommended by parents.
Ofsted praised the early years setting for 36 kids aged two to four for its “wide range of stimulating and exciting activities” adding that children “build exceptional bonds with staff and flourish in their care”.

Inspectors last visited the pre-school in Watford Road, Croxley Green, in 2017 when it was also found to be ‘outstanding’ having been found ‘good’ in 2013.
Manager and owner Delia Morris said: “We were all delighted to retain our Ofsted 'outstanding' rating and receive a report that is even better than in 2017.
“We love working with the children, assisting their development and preparing them for compulsory education.
“We are fortunate to have dedicated, caring and professional staff, all working hard to ensure every child thrives in our pre-school.”
In the report the inspectors said: “Children build exceptional bonds with staff and flourish in their care.
“They demonstrate how happy they are and the fun they are having.
“Children are exceptionally well-prepared for the next stage in their learning journey."
Ofsted also highlighted and praised particular activities from the inspection, including kids creating their own firework pictures using paint, talking about their experiences seeing fireworks, and sharing how their pictures remind them of the fireworks in the sky.
The children were described as “deeply engaged” during these activities in the school's "warm and welcoming environment".
The provision was also found to be outstanding in all the individual categories.
The report added that special educational needs and/or disability support was extremely well provided, allowing children to make rapid progress in their learning, ahead of entering compulsory education.
The arrangements for safeguarding were found to be effective as staff are “very knowledgeable” about the signs of any concerns.
Yesterday, the pre-school hosted a concert for kids, parents, and staff which it concluded by celebrating the Ofsted success.
