A police probe has been launched after valuables were stolen during a burglary in Watford.
The break-in was in Caractacus Green and believed to have happened between 5pm and 9pm on Saturday, October 8.
Herts Police said "a number of jewellery items" were taken and urged anyone with information or CCTV to contact them.
A spokesperson said: “Police are currently investigating following a burglary at an address in Caractacus Green, Watford.
“The incident occurred sometime between 5pm and 9pm on Saturday, October 8.
“It is believed that access was gained to the property via a rear window while the occupants were out.
“A number of jewellery items were taken.
“Investigations are continuing and anyone with information is asked to please contact police.”

Officers also urged people to lock doors and windows when leaving the home and when going to bed.
