Police shut two roads as firefighters tackled a car fire in Bushey.
Emergency services were rushed to a blaze in Turner Road around 3.30pm on Tuesday afternoon (August 3).
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue says a car had caught fire.
The fire service called police for assistance at the scene, Hertfordshire Constabulary added.
Officers attended and put road closures in place in Turner Road and Geddes Road.
Hertsmere Police urged members of the public on twitter to avoid the area as the fire was dealt with.

A tweet read said: “We are currently dealing with an incident in Bushey. Turner Road & Geddes Road is currently shut. Please avoid the area whilst we deal with the incident.”
The closures were lifted shortly before 5pm, police said.
The fire service confirmed that no one was injured during the incident.
