A 'sinkhole' has been further woe for drivers travelling in and around Bushey.
Aldenham Road has been closed outside Queens School for carriageway investigations.
Police were at the scene yesterday evening (Monday) after a pothole appeared in the road - and it appears the hole has got larger overnight.

Council workers have since cordoned off Aldenham Road and dug into the ground - the road could remain closed until October according to Liberal Democrat councillors in Bushey.
Hertfordshire County Council has said there is still access to schools in Aldenham Road and there is also access to the Met Club - but buses are on diversion and during this morning's rush hour, the area ground to a halt.
The A41 near Costco also remains closed due to a burst water main, with the Aldenham Road closure making the situation worse.
The repairs on the A41 have required a huge excavation.
The road has been shut between the Hartspring roundabout and McDonald’s since the early hours of Monday - and is set to remain closed until Friday.

An Affinity Water spokesperson said: "We are very sorry for the traffic disruption caused by a burst along the A41 near Bushey.
"The water main is over 3.5 metres deep and has required a large excavation to expose the pipe, which is also adjacent to a gas main and electric cable.
"Our teams have been working 24 hours a day to expose the pipe and carry out the repairs. During this time, the A41 is closed between Sandy Lane and Hartspring Lane with a diversion in place to ensure the safety of commuters and our engineers carrying out this repair.
"We have adjusted our network to ensure there is no impact to public supplies and our teams will be working overnight to complete the repairs and re-open the road by Friday afternoon.
"We would like to thank customers and commuters for their patience during this time."

There was traffic chaos this morning which is likely to continue for the rest of the week particularly during the morning and evening rush hour.
Little Bushey Lane, Hartspring Lane, the M1 southbound into Watford, and Stephenson Way out of Watford have all been affected in the morning rush hour by the A41 closure.
This evening (Tuesday), traffic is slow in Little Bushey Lane and Hartspring Lane.
Meanwhile, Heathbourne Road in Bushey Heath is closed due to roadworks - which is arguably having an even more detrimental effect on traffic.
This morning, traffic tailed all the way back to Bushey Arches, with drivers in Watford and Oxhey affected.
Tonight, Elstree Road and High Road are busy and these delays are likely to continue while closures remain in place.
Routes 306 & 306A - Heathbourne Rd at Bushey remains closed this morning. Traffic is diverting via Elstree Road (which is served by our 306). As a result the extra traffic is delaying buses. Also the road closure near Queens Sch may also increase traffic levels. Apologies.
