Firefighters continue to battle a "large fire" which has broken out at a scrap yard and can be seen from as far away as London.
Emergency services are at the scene of the blaze which has happened in Oakridge Lane, Aldenham, believed to be at the FMS Recovery yard.
Roads in the area are currently closed. No one is thought to have been injured.
Black smoke can be seen for miles with people spotting it across Watford, Borehamwood, Bricket Wood, St Albans, and Radlett, and even as far as London.

Police have confirmed they were called at 2pm today.
A neighbour said she heard an "explosion" type sound and filmed huge plumes of black smoke rising into the air.
Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue are treating the incident as an 'MP8' incident and crews from Garston, St Albans, Potters Bar, Borehamwood, Rickmansworth, Watford, Hertford, and Welwyn Garden City are at the scene.

The fire service are advising people living nearby to close their windows and doors to avoid inhaling the smoke fumes.
A police spokeswoman said: "Police were called by the fire service at 1.59pm to reports of a large fire in Aldenham.
"The road is currently closed and emergency services remain at the scene at this time."
