More than 30 bikes have been seized from a housing estate in Watford.
Police were called to Peartree Court yesterday following reports of a verbal altercation.
Officers attended and seized a significant amount of suspected stolen goods - including 39 bikes.
No-one has been arrested at this time and the police investigation is on-going.
Following on from this, Sergeant Steve Alison from the Watford Safer Neighbourhood Team is reminding people to ensure they get their bikes security marked.
A free cycle safety day is being held in Watford town centre in the High Street at the junction with Queens Road between 10am and 1pm on Saturday, October 15.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Steve Alison said: “If your bike is stolen in the future, it’s more likely to be returned to you if it is marked in this way, as we will be able to identify who it belongs to.”
