Two estate agents have joined forces after being acquired by a new holding company Thomas W Smith Ltd to bring five officers under one roof.
JW&Co, who have offices in Bushey Heath and Garston, have merged with Langleys Estate Agents & Lettings, who have offices in St Albans, London Colney and Park Street.
Tom Smith and Jack Smith, having been nurtured by Graham Taylor at Watford FC and subsequently enjoying successful footballing careers, are the new owners of the combined company.
They said "Having purchased JW&Co Sales in April 2014, we're delighted to bring together two established and respected businesses, combining experience, professionalism and personal service in the local property market.
"We have exciting plans to take both businesses forward under the JW&Co Langleys brand, with our existing talented and experienced colleagues."
David Smith, Chairman of JW&Co Langleys, added: "We're very excited about the property opportunities that lie ahead and we have bold plans.
"We're very fortunate to have someone of Adam's calibre managing the company, having had a successful career in the high net worth property and insurance market.
"He brings strong management skills, to complement our existing blend of experienced and younger talent and he shares our vision for the Company's future to become a leading light in the property sector."
