Members of Abbots Langley Flower Arrangement Society had a go at making their own bouquets in this month's meeting.
A flower arranging workshop was led by flower arranging tutor and national listed demonstrator Gill McGregor on Thursday, April 23.
Syliva Clinton, a member of the society, said: "Gill McGregor started by demonstrating a contemporary arrangement with Dracaena leaves, roses, Fatsia leaves and other mixed foliage.
"The Dracaena leaves were rolled and folded into shape, and the society members were then given the task of replicating the demonstration, with resulted in a number of colourful arrangements being made.
"To our amazement we all completed the task and had a great evening."
The society will be holding their annual plant sale in Henderson Hall from 10am to noon, where plants, cakes a bric-a-brac and refreshments will be available.
Their next meeting will be on May 28 with a demonstration by Nadira Burki, entitled Dream Weavers. This too will take place in Henderson Hall from 7pm.
All visitors are welcome with a £5 entrance fee for non-club members.
