Downton Abbey and Warhorse star Matt Milne was in Watford this week to give advice to up and coming actors, directors and producers.
Woman in Black director Herbie Wise joined Milne to lead a masterclass session for students of the National Youth Film Academy (NYFA) at West Herts College.
The classes also included a session called How I Started My Career, featuring British Film Institute Future Film Award winner, Rob Savage.
The students, who have been taking part in a two-week NYFA introductory course at the college, already enjoyed sessions featuring veteran TV actor Jonathan Firth and Jason Flemyng from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels among others.
The students came from all over the UK to take part, with six West Herts students among the audience.
James Dyer, 17, who is studying Film Production, said: "It’s been great to get some hands-on experience through this course, and I know the second week will be even more intense as the deadline to finish our short films gets nearer.
"The opportunity to learn from the professionals, close up and personal, has been inspiring."
