An academy in Bushey has appointed a new head teacher, who will start in September.
The Bushey St James Trust, which oversees Bushey Meads School and Little Reddings Primary School, has announced Jeremy Turner will be joining Bushey Meads Academy later this year.
Mr Turner is currently the headteacher at Friern Barnet School in North London. In his time there, the school has been transformed from one requiring improvement to Outstanding by Ofsted.
Sam Russell, chairman of the Bushey St James Trust, said: "I am delighted that we have been able to appoint someone of Jeremy’s calibre. His record at Friern Barnet School is outstanding and we are looking forward to working with him to maintain the high standards we expect in our schools.
"We would also like to thank Ms Morawska and her senior leadership team who have led the school through this transitional period with distinction and will continue to do so until the end of the school year."
