A lost swan caused a flap on the Watford Business Park this evening by wandering about on a dual carriageway.
Commuters heading home were faced by the feathery menace, which was swanning around on Ascot Way, the road leading towards the Watford Business Park.
Mark Wilson, who works for Volvo in the business park, saw the swan and stopped his car to usher it onto the pavement.
The 25-year-old said: "I was road testing a car for a customer, on the way to Watford, when I saw a swan in the middle of the road.
"I put my hazard lights on and followed him down the road, before getting out and pushing him up onto the pavement.
"Things like this can cause accidents."
The police were called to the scene to investigate.
