A charity shop is set to undergo refurbishment.

Home-Start Charity Shop, in Lord Street, will be closed from October 3 and will reopen with a launch party on October 11.

The refurbishment is being overseen by several companies in Watford.

The Hilton hotel is also sending in a team to paint as part of their Global Week of Challenge and staff from Sainsbury’s, in Albert Road South, are also joining in to get the shop ready for its grand reopening.

There is currently a sale to make room for new winter stock, which will continue until the shop's temporary closure on October 3.
