Get the ghosts out the loft, dust off the spider webs and find your witches hat, the countdown to Halloween is on.
With the spooky season approaching it is the time of year to start carving pumpkins with the kids.
Here is a list of pumpkin patches near Watford to pick out your perfect find for Halloween.
Aldenham Country Park
Spook Fest is happening for two weeks, between October 14 and 31, with a variety of activities on top of the pumpkin patch.
There will be a Halloween hayride, pumpkin bingo and a small petting zoo.
Tickets are £7.50 and you can buy them here.

Willows Activity Farm
The “All Tricks No Treats” event runs from October 19 to 31.
It will give children the chance to pick their free pumpkins on a visit to the farm.
There will be a station to carve the pumpkins, so parents do not have to deal with the mess at home.
Willow’s Farm will be hosting other events across the celebration.
Tickets are £24 and include entry to the farm.

Rumbler’s Farm Shop
This is located in Hemel Hempstead and is a small shop where you can go and pick your own pumpkins from its patch.
It is free to enter and is open until October 29.

The Pop-up Farm
This is a field which is full of sunflowers across the summer but has swapped the flowers for pumpkins between October 13 and 31.
It has a variety of pumpkins and squashes to choose from and a bake maze for children to get lost in as well as a snack van.
It costs £3.95 to enter and is located just off junction nine on the M1.

Hitchin Lavender
This is mainly a site known for it is lavender fields in the summer but offers pumpkin picking for Halloween.
It is yet to be confirmed when the site will open but tickets must be pre-booked here.
Tickets are £2.50 per person.
