Free live music from traditional brass bands to indie rock will take place at Watford’s Cassiobury Park bandstand this summer.
The bandstand, near The Cha Café and the park’s Shepherds Road entrance, will host a different performance every Sunday afternoon from June to September.
As part of international Make Music Day on Tuesday, June 21, groups including the Tony Oliver Jazz Band and Anglo-Cuban outfit the Swanvesta Social Club will perform.

Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: “Cassiobury has been voted one of the UK’s top 10 parks and it’s easy to see why when we are able to put on such first-class free shows for our visitors, with excellent local and international performances right here in our own town.”
