CCTV footage has emerged of a hooded man trying car doors at night in Watford.
A man was pictured on a Ring doorbell walking up to two cars on Tolpits Lane and casually trying his luck.
Both vehicles were locked and the man, who was wearing a backpack, ignores the third and walks across the road.

The footage was taken at 4.53am October 31, following which the owner told the Watford Observer he did not report it to police because he "doesn’t feel anything will be done".
Earlier in the year police revealed they found dozens of car doors unlocked when trying them during an operation in Watford.
They described the number as "shocking" and said it equated to one in every 16 vehicles tested.
