Watford Women have been handed a trip to either Southampton Women or Maidenhead United in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Third Round draw that was made at Wembley Stadium this afternoon.
The Hornets will find out if they are heading to the south coast or Berkshire this weekend when the second-round tie is played on Sunday.
Both sides play in the Women’s National League Division One South West, which means they are two tiers below Watford in the Championship.

Maidenhead currently sit eighth in the table with two wins and a draw from eight games, a place above Southampton who have one win and two draws from their seven games.
Both teams needed extra-time to win their first-round ties: Maidenhead were 4-3 winners away at Sutton United while Southampton beat Brentford 4-3 at home.
Once Watford know who they are facing, the tie is due to take place on Sunday, December 10.
The competition is regionalised in the third round, with 20 teams in the northern section and 20 in the southern section.
Last season Watford were beaten 5-1 in the third round by Crystal Palace, but because they were then a national league side they had already beaten Fulham (7-1) in the first round and Crawley Wasps (6-0) in the second round.
A third-round win earns teams £35,000 in prize money (losing sides pick up £9,000).
A good run would certainly help the women’s team coffers as fourth round winners collect £54,000 and success in the fifth round earns £80,000.
The winners of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup will scoop £430,000 in prize money.
