A 48-year-old man has been found guilty of threatening and assaulting another man at a train station.
Dean Francis Joseph, of Vega Road in Bushey, appeared in St Albans Magistrates’ Court yesterday (April 23) over the two offences as well as a drugs possession charge.
He had pleaded not guilty to using threatening, abusive, or insulting words with intent to cause fear, and common assault against the same individual, on December 5.

The crimes relate to an incident at Croxley Station in Watford Road on April 29 last year.
During yesterday’s hearing, he was found guilty of the assault and threats charges after he had already admitted to possessing a quantity of the class b drug cannabis during the December 5 magistrates’ court appearance.
Proceedings have now been adjourned until May 23, when the 48-year-old will appear in the same court for sentencing over the three offences.
