A Watford man who was ordered to pay £1,200 is among seven people sentenced this year for attacking police.
The following people have all been in court this year accused and convicted of assaulting the emergency service workers while they were working.
They include a 47-year-old woman who was arrested for "drunk and disorderly" at Watford General Hospital and a Watford man who broke roof tiles at a Bricket Wood property rental company.

Terry Yates
Terry Yates, 49, of Coates Dell, Watford, was sentenced at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on March 21 after he admitted assaulting two police officers, using threatening words and beating two women in the town on December 4, 2023.
Yates was ordered to undergo a drug rehabilitation programme for 20 days as well as an alcohol abstinence and monitoring requirement.
He paid a £114 victim surcharge and £85 court costs
Joshua Mooney
Joshua Mooney, 35, of Margaret Close, Abbots Langley, was sentenced at St Albans Magistrates' Court on January 4 after he admitted attacking two police constables on January 12, 2023 and sending an “indecent or grossly offensive” WhatsApp message to a man on October 18, 2022.
Mooney was ordered to complete a 15-day “Thinking Skills” programme, 15-day rehabilitation activity and pay a £154 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs.
Tinotenda Muchena
Tinotenda Muchena, of Bucknalls Close, Watford, was sentenced at St Albans Magistrates' Court on January 11 after he damaged roof tiles at Oak Property Rentals, Bricket Wood, and assaulted two police constables on August 2, 2023.
The 39-year-old was told he must pay £250 in compensation, and complete six-months of alcohol treatment and a 10-day rehabilitation activity.
Kimberley Reid
Kimberley Reid, of Chiltern Drive, Mill End, was sentenced at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on March 7 after she was convicted of assaulting a police officer in Watford on May 8, 2021.
The 27-year-old was ordered to pay £150 in compensation, a £150 fine, £150 in court costs and complete a 10-day rehabilitation activity.

Andris Berzins
Andris Berzins, 43, of Little Oxhey Lane, Watford, was ordered to pay a total of £1,205 at St Albans Magistrates' Court on January 9 after he admitted assaulting and verbally abusing a police officer in the town on December 7, 2023.
The Watford man had to pay £800 in fines for both offences, a £320 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs.
Bradley Holloway
Bradley Holloway, 20, of Swannells Walk, Chorleywood, pleaded guilty on February 9 to verbally abusing a male police constable and attacking a female PC in Watford on August 20, last year.
At St Albans Magistrates’ Court, Holloway was told he must pay a total of £250 in compensation for both offences and £85 in court costs.
Lucy Elliott
Lucy Elliott, of Longcroft Road, Maple Cross, appeared at St Albans Magistrates' Court on January 5 accused of being drunk and disorderly at Watford General Hospital on September 29 last year and assaulting a female police constable.
The 47-year-old pleaded guilty to both charges and paid £100 in compensation, £85 court costs and a £26 victim surcharge.
