This dramatic picture shows a car moments after it crashed into a pond in a small village leaving two people injured.
Hertfordshire Police confirmed they were called at 10.37pm yesterday to reports of road traffic crash in Back Lane, Letchmore Heath, near Watford.
Police, two ambulances and three fire engines were sent to the scene on Easter Monday where they found a grey Jeep Compass had careered off the road and crashed into the water.

Four people were helped out of the car by residents and given a change of clothes while they waited for the emergency services to arrive, of which two men were taken to hospital for precautionary treatment.
An eyewitness who helped the people inside said one man had "profuse bleeding" from a head injury and suspected the other had a broken shoulder, while they said the other two people only suffered minor cuts.
Police said it was unknown why the car had left the road and got stuck in the water, but photographs show it partially submerged with a side door open.
A police car, ambulance and fire engine were all pictured at the incident in the small village last night.
