An array of art exhibitions and workshops will be taking place at Cheslyn House and Gardens this year.
Watford Borough Council has announced the series, running from May to October, at the Nascot Wood Road house, will start with local architect-artist Tannaz Oroumchi, offering an abstract viewpoint of towns and cities.
In addition, regional artists will have an opportunity to participate in a summer exhibition in conjunction with Watford Area Arts Forum.
Watford mayor Peter Taylor said: "We are really fortunate to have so many talented artists, creatives and performers living locally. Watford has a thriving arts and culture sector and I am keen to support this.
"By using Cheslyn House and gardens for further art exhibitions, we will build on the vibrant cultural offer that is already present throughout our town."
The programme, interspersed with workshops and pop-up musical activities, is currently under expansion, with the council seeking fresh artists to exhibit and run workshops.
Cheslyn House and Gardens, which are often referred to as Watford's best kept secret, was left to the council by by the architect Henry Colbeck and his wife Daisy.
